We regret we do not have a database to match our drive belts to the make and model numbers of the various record players.

Our technicians have however used the following method for the last 28 years:

1 Switch off the mains power supply for safety purposes.
2 Remove the slip mat off the platter.
3 Remove the platter off the spindle on the record player.
4 Remove the old belt or parts of the old belt from the turntable.
5 Turn the platter upside down and measure the diameter of the inner rim of the platter. Please ignore the gap between the edge of the inner rim of the platter to the capstan on the drive shaft of the motor as the new belt will need to be stretched to provide sufficient tension on the belt.
6 Measure the width of the old belt or in the absence of the old belt, measure the approximate width of the capstan on the drive shaft on the motor. This is usually 4 - 7 mm wide.
7 Match the nearest size from the list below. A variance of approx. 2 - 3 mm diameter is tolerable.
8 On receipt of the new belt, fit it on the inner rim of the platter.
9 Turn the platter the right way up and guide it back on to the spindle of the record player.
10 You will notice that by design there are at least one or two holes in the platter. Looking through one of these, use a biro or a blunt instruement and wedge it in between the belt and the rim and gently stretch the belt so that it fits on the capstan on the drive shaft of the motor. Rotate the platter manually a few times to ensure that the capstan on the drive shaft of the motor is turning.
11 Replace the slip mat on the platter.
12 Success !!
